Almost Pigeon Pose


If only that front leg weren't extended, Roberto Bolle would be in the perfect Pigeon Pose. The Italian ballet dancer (a principal for American Ballet Theatre) collaborated with photographer Bruce Weber over three years to produce the forthcoming book Roberto Bolle: An Athlete in Tights. The book features writing from Bolle, as well as texts by Elsa Morante and illustrations by Paul Cadmus and Jeremiah Goodman. The hardcover book comes with 192 pages and will be released on December 20, 2009. Now in pre-order on Amazon.
